Bikini Bottom Swimwear

The bikini bottom swimwear comes in so many kinds. There are those that leave nothing to the imagination, while others are more conservative. Then there are those made to cover imperfections in the body.

Different styles

The following are the different styles of bottoms:

Brazilian: Pieces under this type are very low cut at the front, and are quite showy at the butt area. If you want to wear a Brazilian-style swimsuit, you need to have the guts to do so.

Thongs: Basically, these pieces reveal the butt cheeks, having a thin piece of material resting in between the cheeks. So many individuals use this for tanning, notwithstanding the fact that some do not find it very comfortable. Naturally, this is probably the best thing to wear if you are sunbathing at a private pool.

String bikinis: In this type of swimsuit, a very thin string runs across the hips, attaching together the pieces of cloth that cover the crotch and the rear area. Different cuts offer varying degrees of coverage, so wearing this swimwear all depends on how “daring” the wearer is.

Scoop bottoms: This is the old-school kind, totally covering the front and rear area, it rises an inch above or under the belly button. This is for the more conservative individuals, but who do not want rushing into the water in a t-shirt.

Boy shorts: These have been made to hide the hips and upper sections of the thigh. A boy shorts is always a favorite because wearers could be as active as they want to on the beach without worrying too much about getting too much exposure. There are skimpier versions that are more daring than the regular pair of boy shorts.

Skirts: These items are quite short, but they hide the hips and the upper thighs. Some skirts are attached to the swimsuit itself, giving enough coverage especially if you have unsightly bulges and stretch marks on your upper thighs.

Choosing the best piece

Do the bottoms have to jive with the tops? The answer to this is no, because a lot of women love to mix and match items. Many swimwear stores sell their tops and bottoms separately, so that the buyers could experiment with various patterns and styles. If you do not know what kind of color combination is best for your skin tone, all you have to do is determine if the color of the beachwear complements your skin tone and makes it glow.
